Exercise Physiology
Exercise physiology is an allied health profession dedicated to clinical exercise and improving movement through exercise. They are able to create exercise programs for people of all ages. They often help instruct and improve exercise programs for people of all ages. Much like a physiotherapist they assist with post operative recovery as well as simple musculoskeletal injury management.
There are a wide range of reasons why a person may benefit from consulting an accredited exercise physiologist. These include chronic disease management referrals after diagnosis of a range of conditions including:
- Cardiovascular disease
- Pulmonary disease
- Metabolic disease
- Neurological disease
- Musculoskeletal disease (including arthritis, osteoporosis/osteopenia, acute and/or chronic musculoskeletal issues)
- Depression and other mental health conditions
- Cancer
How are exercise physiologists qualified?
In order to practise, the following requirements must be met:
- Complete a minimum 4-year bachelor degree provided by a National University Course Accredited Program
- Complete continuing professional development and work under a code of ethics.

Pricing
Covered by Medicare, the TAC and Worksafe these service can often be bulk billed through our practice.
For our private billing customers we are pleased offer an initial consultation special – 4 sessions for $120. that’s an incredible $30 per session.
Private sessions are normally priced at $45 per session.
